As part of promoting DX (Digital Transformation) in education, our school has newly installed a green back (chroma key) studio in the Media Salon. A green back studio uses a green screen as the background, allowing chroma key compositing to extract people or objects and combine them with other videos or images as backgrounds. This technique is widely used in weather forecasts on TV, film production, and YouTube video creation. The studio is intended for use in video classes in the Media Art Expression Course, as well as for presentation production and video distribution — a range of educational activities. By learning in an environment close to actual video production, we expect students to enhance their creativity and expressive ability, gaining practical skills required in the digital society. Our school will continue to enrich its ICT environment and promote educational activities that deepen each student’s learning.
