In an era in which everything in the world is globally connected, this course is for students who want to refine their English while also cultivating an international perspective. Through language training and classes, students re-examine Japan and develop a mindset of multicultural coexistence.

By deepening international awareness and further strengthening English ability, students refine their global perspective. Building on rich overseas study programs and valuable experiences from language-training trips, this course develops mutual understanding of different cultures and a mindset of multicultural coexistence. In addition, students study Japanese culture such as tea ceremony and incense ceremony, and actively give English presentations in class so that they can communicate these traditions to the world. After graduation, students aim for mid-tier Japanese universities (in areas such as foreign languages and international relations).

Learning Japanese culture and communicating it in English

This course emphasizes re-examining Japanese culture. In addition to English classes, students appreciate and practice tea ceremony, incense ceremony, and calligraphy, experiencing traditional Japanese culture firsthand. Students present the Japanese culture they have learned in English, conveying the beauty of Japan to the world in the international language. Through opportunities such as exchange sessions with students from sister schools, they develop the ability to recognize Japan from multicultural perspectives and communicate its appeal.

The Global Standard Course aims to cultivate solid English communication ability and deepen understanding of both Japanese and world cultures. In addition to strengthening the four English skills through team teaching with native and Japanese teachers, students develop the attitude to think from multicultural perspectives through learning Japanese culture such as tea ceremony and incense ceremony. Students can gain international experience through overseas language training, sister-school exchanges, and internships at international schools within Japan. After graduation, many students proceed to mid-tier universities in areas such as foreign languages and international relations, opening up their futures with an international perspective.
