On February 24, the “Graduation Celebration Party” was held at Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel. This event, held ahead of the March 3 graduation ceremony to celebrate the third-year students’ new beginning, brought together the Chairperson, Principal, and third-year faculty to share a heartwarming time with students facing graduation. As this was a formal party featuring a full-course hotel meal, students participated in attire befitting the venue and atmosphere. The elegance of dress and the festive venue differed from ordinary school life; some faces revealed a hint of nervousness, but their poise showed the tremendous growth of three years. Students themselves handled reception and MC duties for the event. During the meal, videos each class had produced to express gratitude to homeroom teachers were shown; the venue filled with smiles and warm applause. While sharing joyful time, students clearly felt the poignancy of just a little school life remaining. Near the end, the student representative presented flower bouquets to the third-year Head Teacher and homeroom teachers, conveying heartfelt gratitude for their guidance. After the party, the Global Course held a graduation ceremony. Wearing mortarboards, students received course completion certificates from the Principal. It was a special time filled with both solemnity and a proud sense of accomplishment. At this time just before graduation, this was a precious opportunity to look back on three years together with classmates and mentors. All faculty warmly cheer on the third-year students’ new steps ahead.
