On the fourth day of the school trip, students had free group activities at a shopping mall adjacent to the accommodation facility in the Philippines. Students visited stores they had planned in advance, savored local cuisine, and spent time as they wished. When choosing souvenirs, we saw them earnestly picking items while thinking of family and friends — a valuable opportunity to enjoy shopping while experiencing a different culture. Some students also used the facility’s pool, and it was impressive to see them refresh together with friends. Deepening the year’s bonds even further, each student was able to spend a fulfilling day. The school trip is entering its final phase, but we hope this experience will lead to the growth of each and every student.
