To applicants: 1) Gathering — Wednesday, February 11 (national holiday), 9:00 a.m. (all courses). 2) Attendance check: applicants will be guided from the main entrance to each examination site; roll call will be taken at gathering time. 3) Exam schedule — Written exam (mark sheet): 9:10-10:00 Japanese / 10:10-11:00 Math / 11:10-12:00 English. Interview (individual): from 12:10. After completion, lunch break. 4) Bring: exam admission ticket, photo ticket, writing implements, lunch. Please detach the exam and photo tickets. 5) Response in case of disaster: for those late due to transportation delays from earthquake or snow, we will conduct the exam as they arrive at school. In case of significant transportation disruption, the start time will be postponed (to afternoon, etc.); we will announce this via three channels the day before or day of the exam. In case of major earthquake or heavy snow when transportation restart is uncertain, the exam will be postponed to a later date. Notification channels: (i) our website, (ii) Nippon Broadcasting Radio around 6-7 a.m. (AM 1242kHz / FM 93.0MHz), (iii) phone (or FAX) to the applicant’s junior high school. 6) Results — Wednesday, February 11 (holiday), around 14:00, notice delivered by hand at the school. 7) Admission procedure: dedicated applicants — Monday, February 16, 10:00–16:00; concurrent applicants — Wednesday, March 4, 10:00–16:00.
