Today’s first subject was P.E., which was an excellent start to the school day. The session helped students wake up both mind and body through physical activity, promoting alertness, focus, and concentration for the subjects that followed. For science, students worked in groups with Pine Hills students to solve a puzzle testing their knowledge in reaction dynamics. Through teamwork and perseverance, all managed to complete the puzzle. For the intensive English lesson, Hakuho students did dramatic reading, reading aloud from an English book. This taught them to be more expressive and put emotion into playing out the characters. For the E-commerce subject, a special lesson was held involving learning about and tasting authentic Malaysian desserts. After tasting, students researched the ingredients and methods used to prepare the desserts. The most intriguing lesson was the Sports Theory class at the end of the day, where the teacher was a qualified physiotherapist. Students were taught the role of physiotherapy and its different types. They also experienced proper flexibility and strength training used in physiotherapy. This valuable knowledge will become a great asset — physical exercise is important to enhance focus, memory, and learning.
