On Monday morning, Hakuho students on the Philippines Exchange Tour were greeted by Ms. Sofia Soledad D. De Guzman, Principal of the High School at Miriam College. They were then taken to the JICC (Japan Information and Cultural Center) at the Japanese Embassy in Manila to learn about Japan-Philippine relations and the duties of embassy staff. After enjoying traditional Filipino dishes at a restaurant in Intramuros World Heritage Site, students viewed traditional Filipino arts and crafts at Silahis Arts and Culture Center. The day ended with a shopping tour at the massive MOA (Mall of Asia). Tomorrow, Hakuho Global Course students will meet their new classmates at Miriam College for a day of study.
