Malaysia Exchange Program 8
2026.07.14
In the morning, Hakuho students attended the whole school assembly. Afterwards, they had lessons as usual. For English class, students prepared the draft for a writing piece. For maths, students did worksheets on geometric progression, differentiation, and integrals tailored to Grade 11 level โ a very good review of topics they had already learned. ICT class was an interesting lesson about computer networks, teaching Hakuho students the various types of networks and each one’s features. They played a quiz game to test what they learned at the end of the lesson. For arts and design class, students colored designs for their own Wayang Kulit (shadow puppetry), a traditional Malaysian performance art. History class was intriguing โ students had to research and give a presentation about a chosen country’s political system, learning intricate structures, functions, and hierarchies. In after-school intensive English class, students continued work on their group skit for Thursday. They rehearsed their skit over and over. While the school day was ordinary, Hakuho students received surprise gifts from Pine Hills students as tokens of friendship. Overjoyed, they took commemorative photos with the Pine Hills students.
