India Exchange Program 8
2026.07.14
On the final day of the overseas program, students attended English classes, then changed into traditional saris and participated in Indian traditional dance and a walking performance called “ramp top.” Though the period was short, students displayed the results of accumulated practice everywhere, and it was impressive to see each student express themselves with confidence. Their expressions on the day were bright โ a fitting close to a full program. Afterwards, local school faculty, students, and parents warmly brought homemade dishes to a farewell party. Sharing handmade Indian food, they deepened their exchange and shared the last moments at school in a warm atmosphere. When parting, some students shed tears alongside their new friends, reluctant to end this valuable experience. The deep kindness and warmth of the people met in India, and the many lessons learned through this program, will be firmly etched in students’ hearts and drawn upon in future school life and beyond.
